My friend of the family had a baby boy and I need suggestions for

a baby gift! I feel bad b/c her shower was a few months ago but I was unable to go b/c I live in Texas and time escaped me to send a gift.

What were some of your memorable gifts?
FYI, she is Jewish......did anyone get any religious gifts?

diapers, diapers, GC they could use for diapers, and did I mention diapers???

Seriously, oneies, wipes, savings bonds, one share of stock, a cute (but funtional - nothing that can't get poo on it) outfit. HTH

eta: those Johnsons & Johnsons gift baskets with baby wash and stuff in them are great too! you can always check out BRU and see if she had a registry there as well.

I have to aggree that people send TONS of clothes but you can never have enough diapers and gift cards. Even if you don't use the gift cards right away you'll certainly use them later on....
