heartbeat the 1st time
How far along was everyone when they heard their babies heartbeat for the 1st time? I have my 2nd u/s on Thursday and my RE seems pretty confident we will hear it. I will be 6w4d.

I saw heartbeats at 7 wks 4 dys, 7 wks 2 dys and 7 wks 6 dys

I had my first sonogram at 8 weeks and saw the heartbeat then (they didn't have sound on the machine)

I saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks and i think I heard one at 11 weeks.

I was about 6 weeks, 3 days when I first saw the heartbeat 
edited to add: my doctor also didn't try to "hear" the heartbeat on the doppler until about 12 weeks, just so that I wouldn't freak out if she tried any earlier (it's sometimes hard to hear the HB before 12 weeks, based on how/where the little bean is settled in...)

I saw the heartbeat for the first time at 5w3d but that is considered early. Saw it again at 8 weeks. I did not hear it with a doppler though until about almost 12 weeks (my Dr doesn't even try before then). Good Luck

I heard it around 13 or 16 (I can't remember) but I saw it at 5w6d - I don't think you'll hear it but you'll see it.

we got to see the heartbeat in my 7th week and heard it with the dopller around 12 weeks..
