Does anyone live in South Florida?
Just curious...I live in the Ft. Lauderdale area. We moved down here 2 years ago so I could get a teaching job and so we could buy a house. Anyone else???

My parents have a house there that they go to a few times a year.
If they ever go permanently, I'd be right behind them
My inlaws are going down as well.
We shall see what the future holds.

I am in Southwest FL
Love it. Now if the hurricanes would stay away would love it more. Charlie destroyed Punta Gorda which is 10 miles south of us

my sister lives in Parkland/Coral springs and loves it.. except during hurricane season.. and my paretns have an Apt in Sunrise that was my grandmothers.. so we always have a place to stay when we go down..
and Dh and I have tons of family through out South Florida

We were in south florida for 8 mths and just moved back home.
I also moved to Palm beach county since I couldnt' find a teaching job. I was living in Boynton Beach and teaching in Boca Raton.
I loved living in florida but missed my family. My DH and I are regretting moving back now. We had it good there.
