help with temps
this morning i woke up at 4:30 and my temp was 97.69, i took it again at 7:20 and it was 98.60. i usually wake up at 6:30. since i am right near ovulation time, what time should i chart or how should i adjust it? thanks

If you went back to sleep after the first test that meant you slept for about 3 hours.. so I would take the 2nd temp .. Its closer to when you usually take it and you were sleeping for 3 hours before...
I could be wrong but thats what I would do

That is a huge increase. Usually the temps just vary a bit...but your temp went up a whole degree. Is it possible that you ovulated, during the night ?
98.6 is pretty high for a pre- O temp. I would definitely keep a note of this, but not sure I would put it in my chart. The reason being, is that it can throw your entire coverline off, if O hasn't occurred but is going to , in a day or two. It also, could just be a fluke because of the sleeping pattern.
If you put in the first temp, but you did O...then, your chart won't show an accurate O day.
I would keep the temp to the side, and see what the following days bring. I would then put in the temp that most fits the pattern. Keep on bding...just in case that wasn't O.
