No, unless it was defective in some way.
I did see someone at a catered event not long ago that I was SURE had a tag tucked under her armpit so she could return the fancy top later.

First, HI DIANA!!! I miss you girlie...how's FL? 
Second, yes, I have...much more when I was younger  I bought an outfit for DH's 21st b-day (I was 19) wore it, returned it. Did it with dresses at Macy's (since you barely wear them) a lot when I was a kid!!
