HOw do I remove a belly button ring?
OK this is really stupid - I got my belly button pierced many many years ago and I only took it out once for an MRI and that was a looong time ago. It's the kind of ring that is just the circle/ring with the ball in the center.
How the hell do I get it out? I've been trying and I'm afraid I'm going to hurt myself!

The little ball pops out but you have to really get it. DH helped me using pliers (sp?)!!! Sounds scarey but it didnt hurt!
You can also go to any place that does peircing and they can get it out for you!

we use wire cutters. YOu have to pry the circle open, then the ball falls out.

The ball unscrews. You might need a tool, like small pliers but it does unscrew.

I recall my ball either popping out or screwing out, but if you need a jump start, try using 2 pairs of pliers to pry it open!
I've had to remove mine twice (I had mine pierced twice!!)

just use tiny pliers, itll pop out no problem.
i took out my belly ring like that b/c it was so annoying to get on and off, but one of myother piercings is like that still. i leave it, but i had to take it off for surgery.
it was quick and painless.

I went back to the place I had the piercing and the took off the ball and used the pliers to take it out.
