Real stupid but I need a mailing question answered
tried calling the post office can't get a hold of anyone and I really don't feel like driving there right now.
Can you send items to a P.O Box address. I heard you only can send letters. I need to send a shirt so its going to be in one of those large envelope type of thing?

Yes. I receive parcels all the time. The postman will leave a card in the box and the recipient goes to a window to pick it up.

Exactly. I had a PO box for several years (all my mail went to it) and I got packages all the time. I just couldn't receive anything from Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, etc.

Yup. I have one now, mostly so I can receive packages. No one is home and I don't want the letter carrier leaving anything for us at the door.
