My Cardiologist called me back last night...
He told me that he wants to run more tests (an MRI, Bloodwork, and a stress test) next week or the week after. He feels that although my heart function and valve are impaired, it is rare that an adult with naturally corrected L-Transposition (the congenital heart defect that I have) would not have impaired heart and valve function when they are my age (31).
So now we are at the point where we are looking more closely at my heart and how the valve and the heart function. He does not think I need surgery, BUT told me not to quote him on it. A lot depends on the next round of tests.
On the plus side, I can stop taking the meds that were making me dizzy!
