Its not that crazy for Nassau County in general though.
My taxes are $7300 b4 star... but at least I have two full bathrooms.

im so glad that im living in florida now. i have a house triple the size......almost 3000 sq feet (master bedroom and bathroom with a walk in closet that is about a 10x12room, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, eat in kitchen area, dining room, laundry room, office/optional bedroom, a huge linen closet, living room, a huge famile room, and a 3 car garage. oh and that also includes a built in pool with a screened in patio)and i paid 165,995. its so worth it to move out of state and my taxes are like 2,000. dont get me wrong...i miss my family, friends and ny a whole lot, but not how expensive it is
