I never thought I would do this --UPDATE PAGE 7-- 2/21/06

I tend to keep certain family matters personal and don't usually ask for prayers, but this one could be potentially devastating to our family.

My cousin's 3 year old daughter was taken to the hospital last night with 105 fever and bruises on her body. At first, we thought that this could be related to a genetic blood platlet disorder that both my cousin and my aunt had years ago.

This morning, my other cousin emailed me to tell me that the early diagnosis is leukemia. He received this information second-hand from my uncle, who is the little girl's grandmother's brother, so this may or may not be the full-story. Until I hear from someone that is actually at the hospital, I won't fully believe the story.

But, please keep us in your prayers. This could potentially devastate the family in ways I don't even want to think about.

UPDATE

My cousin just called the hosp and the little girl's grandmother
she told my cousin that its NOT 100% that its Leukemia
but they are really leaning towards it as of now
