My parents are in the middle to where the hurricane hit. THank god the house is ok. They lost power yesterday morning. I spoke to them tonite and there's no power. My dad heard on the radio that his area may not get power back for 2 weeks!!!! i hope that not true. they need to eat. they have a whole fridge with food. my mother even has a second freezer with food. i hope my grandmother will be okay. she's in the same area. i hate that i can't do anything
My MIL just got off the phone with her cousin who lives about 10 mins. from my parents house..he said they got hit bad. My mom cant even get there until next month. My uncle may be going down in a few days to see what he can do. I feel so bad for everyone!
just spoke to my mom...still no power i just wish there was something i could do. if it wasn't going to get cold here and i had room, i would tell them to drive to ny until the power is back
