swaddle me blanket - stupid question
i am due in June. do you think that I will use one of these blankets? what size do you think that i should get? sorry
i fiigured that it wil be hot and didn't think that i wouldneed one. just wanted to know everyones response.

I was due at the end of June/Beginning of July and I used the Swaddle Me in the beginning. We had central AC and DH likes to keep the house pretty nippy in the summer so it came in handy. Not for long though, because our little bundle didn't like to be swaddled for long. After about 2 weeks he was done with the swaddling. But you never know, your baby might love it for awhile. I would get it because it makes swaddling so much easier. I would get the smallest size since you probably won't be using it for long anyway.

Check out the "Miracle Blanket" before deciding to buy the Swaddle Me. A bunch of moms here (including me) had both and ended up liking the Miracle Blanket more.
The swaddle blankets aren't for warmth, they are for sanity -- swaddles help babies stay calm and sleep longer.

I am also due in JUne and was wondering the same thing! I did register for a small and large one but may delete the large one. they are fellece ones though. now I am reading that others found cotton ones. I didnt see cotton in BRU but Ill look again. does anyone have alink to a cotton one on BRU.com?

Im due in the beginning of May and I registered for 2 of the cotton sawddle blankets, I think I'll get a lot of use out of them.
