New here and need OBGYN
Hi all...
I'm new here and am trying to find a new OBGYN...I just found out the one I have been going to is going to stop delivering sometime in the next few months...
I would like to find a female doctor and have been doing some research online...
I have an appt in 2 wks with Dr Francine Fradella - she is in Massapequa and practices by herself...I've heard that it is good to find a doctor that is by themselves bc then you dont have to worry about who will deliver you??? I've also heard great things about Women's Contemp. Care Assoc in Mineola and Hicksville, but i think they are a big practice...
I've having a very hard time making my decision...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

I live in Massapequa Park and would like to find one relatively close. but its more important to find a great doctor so im open to all suggestions. however, i would like to find one that is affiliated with Wintrop...

I LOVE my new obgyn ....Dr Jennifer Hanauer
she is in Garden City but she is so nice
and she is affiliated with Winthrop in Mineola(she is actually 5 minutes from the hospital)

I have been hearing such great things about her. It seems that everyone LOVES her. How hard is it getting an appt with her? Also, do you have to wait long to see her once you get there?

I go to her too, and totally LOVE her!!! I can't remember how long I had to wait for an appointment; maybe a week or 2??

I made an appointment for next week today so she may be able to squeeze you in. Waiting once you get there - depends on the day/night you go. Some times not long at all (during the day), after work a little bit of a wait like all ob/gyns. Good luck! If you can't get an appointment right away with Dr. H, I recommend seeing Kerry - she is the nurse practitioner and has done delivery, all that - she has her own patients. She's a sweetheart too. They are a very caring office.
