Japanese Straightened Hair - Growing Out PICTURES

I see so many questions asking about what happens when the hair grows out so I thought this might help some people who are considering haveing JHS done.
I got my hair done on May 20th,so it is a bout 1 1/2 months.
The roots have looked staright to me until this week. I am still letting it air-dry all the way. The top layer is so straight and I can't see a wave in the new growtht. However, the bottom layer of my hair has wavy roots and by my ear has a slight wave. I am posting these pics for you all to see so you know what to expect.
1st pic is above my ear, you can see a slight wave but the top top is still straight.
2nd pic, bottm layer of my hair you can see the roots are wavy.

You are awesome for doing that. It doesn't look that curly at all. I think my hair is a lot curlier than yours though. That's the only thing holding me back.

Wow either your hair grows REALLY fast or maybe they didnt get the chemical close enough to your scalp in the back?
