What are you doing for BC after the baby is born?
I want to prepare now. My friend got the IUD and loves it, any other suggestions? I want to have fun and not worry about getting pregnanct for at least another 3 years.

I want to go on the pill but I am afraid my system will get all screwy if I go on the pill then get off the pill and try getting preggo next summer...

I was just thinking about this the other day..
Im a little worried about the pill, mainly because I got preg. on it... however it did work for a few years...(and I truely believe it was the antibiotic I was on that caused my pill not to work)
But I heard you couldnt be on the pill and breast feed..??? Fact or fable????

Yes!
I know atleast 4 girls that got pg with the second while BF having 'irish twins!'

I'm guessing I'll go back on the pill after I'm done BF since it worked for so many years for me and my cycles were pretty normal and we got PG pretty fast

Hmmm...I haven't even thought of this. Right now we would like to get prego with #2 soon after #1 is born. After that, l don't know what we're going to do...I guess I'll go back on the pill.

Antibiotics do lower the pills effectiveness. Any time an antibiotic is taken, a second (back-up method) should be used and the pharmacists should have warned you. 
You can take the pill while BF, I did, but didn't like the side effects. Typically the minipill is given and it's such a low dose that you *have* to take it at the same exact time every day. Some people will take the regular BC, but it can affect your milk supply.
I think we are going the IUD route because I was BF and would you like to meet baby number two on the way?!?
