Do you have a Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Detector in your nursery?
I'm not sure if I need to have a seperate one in the room or if the one directly outside in the hallway is good enough. Thanks

No. We have one in the basement and one in the kitchen (the closest room to the basement).
I believe that is what's recommended.

There is a smoke detector in his room that is hard wired to the rest in the house. There is one in every room.
But the Carbon Monoxide detector is on the way up the basement stairs.
I am going to get another for the second floor, just in case we can't hear that one while sleeping.

We have one on the ceilings in every bedroom and a few different hallways and the kitchen

I have one of each in her room -- I figure that the extra few seconds it would take to set off an alarm outside the room could make a difference...

Thanks for the input, I think I'll put the one in the hallway in the basement and get seperate ones for all of the bedrooms.
