1200 square feet for 75k? That sounds cheap.
Didn't someone here once post typical extention or dormers run around $100 a square foot?

So at 1200 square feet that would be about 12K..
Wow.. does 75K really sound cheap to do the rest? I was hopeing to do it for under 100K

We were looking at a second floor extension with about 850 sq ft, two full bathrooms (one with separate shower), hardwood floors, Anderson windows - basically all the good stuff. It was about 127K. We haven't decided if we're doing that yet.

anywhere between $100 - $125 per square foot...
so for a 1200 sf extension, it will most likely run between $120K - $150K....

To add that much extra of feet--I would guess a minimum of 125.

1200 sq/ft is a lot of space. I would guess it would cost anywhere from $140K to $160K

What about just blowing out the back of a house? In the home we are considering, the kitchen is narrow, so I'm trying to figure out what the cost would be to blow out the back - maybe go out 10ft? Anyone have any ideas?
