Did/does your DC eat less when actively teething?
Ava won't finish any of her bottles lately. I'm starting to get worried, but I also know she is teething. I'm assuming it's probably normal for them to eat less when a tooth is breaking through, no?

Re: Did/does your DC eat less when actively teething?
YES! The other day Grace only ate 4 ounces all day Then she work up at 4AM and ate 8 oz. Grace has not had a tooth break through yet, just swollen white gums, poor thing. Yesterday she chowed down and ate 2 jars of baby food (peas and pears) and ate 24 ounces all before 8 PM. Then at 8PM, she would not stop crying and ate nothing until this AM.
My point us, you have to go with the flow with their eating when teething. I guess if I were cutting teeth, I would not want to eat too.
's to Ava & mommy. Teething is NOT fun.

Absolutely! And we've been teething forever --- between the colds she had this summer and teething I'd say that once a month she has a week where she just doesn't eat much and she actually appears thinner from it. We're just coming out of it now so I'm trying to counteract the weight loss by giving her things she really loves with meals so that she'll finish it all.
