I did the dumbest thing today...
Pulling into my parking space at work we have huge yellow poles between each space. I was edging in to fit and I hit the pole and now have lovely yellow paint all over the rear panel, plus I slightly dented right above the tire well. I'm wearing my glasses and my depth perception isn't so great with them, so I thought I had more room than I did. I feel so dumb...I'm waiting for DH to call me back. He works at the NYSE on the floor so I can't reach him at all. Ugh!!!!!!!

I did the same thing a few months back at 7-11 with a yellow pole. The paint came off easy and they were able to fix the small dent and repaint the area for like $60 all together...
Dont worry..it happens!!!

Awe, don't feel too bad. We all do dumb things once in a while and yours could have been much worse. My sister recently hit the garage door close button as she was backing out of the garage in a hurry and proceeded to take the garage door with her.

Thanks, girls...you're making me feel better. Of course, my first reaction was to yell "Oh s*it!" and start crying....I'm super anal about my car and just had it washed and waxed on Sunday. Oh, well!

A long time ago, my car was parked infront of my sisters car in my parents driveway. I didn't see her car..  and backed up right into it....Now, that's dumb!

Oh and I forgot about the time I pulled half in my driveway so I could get out of the car and open the fence, but I was on my cell phone and forgot to put the car in park so while I was opening the fence my car starting rolling down the block (my house is on a hill) in a U pattern (since the wheel was still turned) and it crashed right into my best friend's car. Luckily her car at the time was a giant piece of crap and when I went inside and told her what happened she went hysterical laughing. LOVE HER!!

aww i've done that too. i've pulled out a spot at the Air Base where DH works and scraped the whole side of my jeep on the 'BIG YELLOW POLE" as DH puts it ... you didn't see the BIG YELLOW POLE?!?!!? guess not ...

i did something similar a few weeks ago. i know its an incovenience and annoying but think in the grand scheme of things, not a big deal. you are ok and that is most important.

I am glad you are ok! I did the same thing i back up last year and hit the Big Yellow pole and thank god i did not dent my car but I did scare myself!
