Officially worked the pregnancy card yesterday!
I was waiting behind someone at the pump to get gas yesterday evening, and the woman in front of me was about to pull up to the pump when her car just died... I didn't want to just go around her, so I got out of my car, and asked if everything was ok....
Turns out she JUST ran out of gas, and told me she will get the guy out to help her push, but in the meantime, I could just go around her and get gas....
So, I pull around, and this guy pulls up to the pump from the other direction. I rolled down my window and said nicely that I was waiting on line, and he just shrugs his shoulders at me, and says - well, I'm here now!
So I said it again - I was waiting for 5 minutes on line... and he was such a jerk, I said - Look - I wouldn't mind, but I'm pregnant and I have horrible morning sickess, and I have to get home to throw up!
His face changed, and he pulled back, but kept saying something to me... I just smiled and said - thanks, appreciate it... great, thanks... I'm sure he was trying to ell me he was still there 1st or whatever, but please...
If he wasn't such a jerk, and he aologized, I would have let it go, but he was such a d!ck, that i wanted to teach him a lesson - it worked!
anyone else work their pregnancy card yet?

Don't feel bad.....I used it early on to get out of some stuff at work. And that guy was a jerk!!!!!

I tried to get it to work for me but it didn't. I was at an IHOP one morning, there was a wait. On the bench there was a seat, so I sat. The lady next to me said I am saving this seat for my son. I thought she was joking...maybe her mother or something, but you are kicking me out for a grown man? so I gave her the benefit of the doubt, maybe he is handicap...in walks this 6 foot 20 something year old. I was shocked. I made such a scene. I stood in front of the lady, rubbing my stomach, and complaining to DH about my back. She didn't budge.

I've really only had to use it at work. I'm a teacher. I've only used it for carrying textbooks and large boxes that are too heavy.

I did! Last month I wrote about getting pulled over by a cop and telling him I had to pee...he let me go!
