Shower Ideas
Hi,
I am new here. A friend told me about this site. I am looking for ideas for a baby shower I am planning for my best friend. Please share all your favorite things from your shower so I can make this a fun and memorable one for her.

My sister had everyone write down on pieces of scrapbook paper some advice for the new mommy. She then made me a scrapbook later on of pics from the shower and had the advice sheets as part of the book. It is a very special book. I also loved my wishing well and book well.

I really loved the clothesline. They took a rope and strung it up and clothes pinned baby items to it, ie. onesies, socks, bath cloth outfits, etc....
They also did a "make your own favor" table! LOL everyone wanted to get involved so there were so many favors, little baby photo albums, handmade crosstitch magnets, personalized mini hersheys, chocolate lollipops, baby themed candles, I know I am forgetting stuff I will have to check the photos!

My sisters and cousin planned my shower and they were extremely creative. They hand made the invites, decorated little ABC bank blocks, and had placemats with poems from Baby on them (4 different ones). I was really blown away by all the work they did. Plus I absolutely loved the clothes line....see pics

I loved the clothesline with the clothes on it and the wishing well. Also my friends had passed a book around so people can write down advice for the mommy.
One of hte best gifts I have to say is the basket that had all the cleaning things I would need for baby's clothes
If you need some games to play FM m e I have alot of them.

These are all such great ideas. Thank you for sharing them.
For those that had a book well, do you know if something was sent out in the invitations to inform the guests about it. Was it a cute poem or something?
