Ladies: How many sizes do you wear?
So I went shopping yesterday, to see what is out there. I found out that i wear a size
2 in Ann Taylor loft
4 in Banana Republic
6 in Gap
2 in old Navy

I have definitely noticed that. i was a size 2 in high school, and i weight considerable more now. They are just trying to appease us.

Or the best is the European sizes where they run small so u have to get 2 sizes bigger to fit....as if that is going to make me want to diet more!!!!

I'm usually a 0 anywhere (when not PG, that is ) although some places I have to get a 0 Long.
Oh, actually in Abercrombie I wear a 2 I think, and a medium or large in their t-shirts because they run so small. What is up with their size 00 jeans though? That's pretty darn teeny!

I know!
i didn't even want to think about it, but their sizes come out to me being a 12/14 in pants 16 in tops.

OK, let me tell you a size story. I normally waer a 6 or an 8 depending on the time of month. LoL Well, I went to get measure for my MOH dress. The lady looked at me and says "Well, I hope you're NOT an extra sized one!" Talk about no one asked your azz. The as she's measuring me she says "Wow, you're a curvy one!" I wanted to beat her w/ her measuring tape!!! I looked at her & said well, I'm not an extra size but I'm sure you may be.

This is fine with me. As long as the tag says 14 I am fine with it no matter what size it really is!!!!!!

Yeah they do run Big... I find that Ann Taylor is more true to the sizes of women.

Okay, I am the weird one. I wear a size six. It really does not matter where I shop I am always a size six. Sometimes the 6 may be too small or too big but the next size up or down does not fit properly either.
The only time I am a different size is for the European designers. There size charts are completely different so I do go up a size in that case.

I was cracking up when I was reading the story......
that lady was such a nasty Bleep!! Funny thing was my dress ended up being a size 14...ok..so who cares as long as I look nice in it I can care less what size it is.
Turns out another lady who obviously a larger size ended up saying she wanted her dress to be a 14 and that she was going to lose weight to fit into it by the time the wedding came. I looked at Flo..that was her name & said "wow...I see that a 14 isn't bad at all. Others are wishing to get into that size!!!!" Eat your heart out FLO!!!!!

I have the additional problem of soemtimes being a petite & sometiems not & sometimes in petites I need a size bigger & sometiems I don't.
I awlays end up taking 4 times as many thing in to the dressing room as as I actually buy.

Try dealing with what I deal with - the smallest size in plus size is too big for me and the biggest size in regular clothes is too small (depending on the store of course). So I am either busting out of my clothes or swimming in them - fun times!

zero- in Banana to a 4 - but they told me at BR that they are going back to normal sizing
a 2 or 4 mostly- sometimes a 6
