Last Year I Found A Cat.....
and i posted on here how i found a cat at a bar..... i took her home.... then the next dayshe was gone, she chewed a hole out of our screen window and left.
well, about a month later we went back to the bar and there she was again.... this time inside....
turned out she kept coming by and they eventually decided to make her the 'bar cat'.
her name: Lucinda (i was calling her Stoli)
anyway, so fast forward a year later.... this is the bar i work at! So, i became her mommy again (well, ONE of her mommies! all us bartenders are her mommies)
well, we found out she had feline luekemia.....
last month she really started to deteriorate.... i was forcing her to eat and drink, but she;d throw it up..... i gave her medicine everyday... i played with her. i honestly really loved her.
well, sadly, Lucy died Wednesday. my boss called me up crying. she lost 20% of her body weight in 1 month. i was so upset. i cried.
i finally found the pics of her the night i brought her home..... and one of her at the bar.
I just am really upset about it. I didnt post when it happened since she wasnt technically *my* cat, but i figured it would make me feel better. I know she is over the Rainbow Bridge doing well and not suffering (with my other cat Runt), but its still very upsetting.

I'm so sorry Jess. I had adopted a cat and it turned out she had Feline Leukemia - they deteriorate so quickly it's so sad.

So sorry to hear about this cat. My friend just had to put hers down for the same reason (only a year old) 
So glad you were able to take care of her and give her happy life!!

it was such a blow to the whole bar. it really sucks.... i still have customers asking where she is.... i have had to break the news to sooo many ppl. its sad. at least she is in a better plac enow though

that's so sad I had a cat for 10 years- she was a carrier of FL. She had 1 litter, I kept 2 and they had the FL. They both died very young and it came on so quick- it was horrible
