To know NOW or LAter? Gender
I just wanted to know if you ladies found out the gender before it was born? if you did why? I want to wait but dh wants to know. I guess it would be a little bit more convenient for our first born. Im still deciding. What did you do? Thanks

We chose to wait. We want to be surprised. We both wanted it though, so it was easy to decide!

We found out because we both wanted to know. I wanted to be able to prepare for the baby - get the nursery ready, register for gender appropriate stuff, pick out names, etc.

With our first we waited, I didn't want to know, DH did. This time around we also waited, I kinda wanted to find out but DH didn't.

We both started off saying no but as soon as it got close to the sono, we both changed our mind. Just sooo curious and also for the preparation stuff.

Same here. We weren't going to find out, but the day of our sono, we changed our mind and found out we were having a boy. We are so glad we did. It just made things so much easier.

Personally, I wanted to know because I am a planner, and I didn't see why finding out now was any different than finding out later. But that was the decision that worked best for us.

I'm a planner (and shopper) too, that is why I really wanted to know but DH was dead set on it being a surprise. So, I let him win this one

we found out. we wanted to know so we could choose the room and colors. also, i hate yellow and green (too much of it anyway) so we found out so we could plan clothing and paint accordingly.
personally, i feel like i've bonded more w/  now that we know, both dh and i call him by his name and refer to 'him', it's like we know him already, ya know?

I'm still very early in my pregnancy and I'd like to know especially after I was reading a baby magazine as to how they can hear you etc....And I also would like to find out for the preparations etc...
My husband does not want to know as he wants it to be a surprise.
So we agreed that I will find out but I won't tell him ......

I want to know (because I'm a planner), but DH doesn't. I won this argument and I told him that if he doesn't want to know, then I won't tell him. If I buy anything gender specific I will put it in the closet and he doesn't have to look
When the time comes....I know he will want to know if I know
