anyone after getting their BFP....

Feel completely emotional, overwhelmed and scared? after the joy swept over me and DH, I cried in bed. guess it all just hit me - Just thiking of how our life will never be the same - how we, as a couple, will never be the same, how we will now first and foremost be mom and dad and not husband and wife. its very overwhelming. Will we after the baby is born, be able to relate to each other again as a couple?
we seemed so carefree only 2 days ago. its a huge adjustment. guess I just need time.

It's a big thing to have a child You're feelings are perfectly normal! All of sudden you get the what if's, how will we manage, finances come crashing in even if everything was thoroughly talked about pre pg.

As soon as you progress, believe me, you will love that little child more than anything, and will do anything to make everything work.

I felt like that right before I gave birth. It is completly normal.

Thanks for the supportive words girls - I appreciate it. It made me smile.
I guess I'm just like this because we're not telling anyone yet. And since DH is not a woman - thank god :) he can't offer the woman perspective.
I just need to tell my parents - especially my mom whom I tell everything to. That's really whats bothering me - I can't tell my mom yet.
I tell her everything and this is a HUGE SECRET!

I felt this way times 10. I am a smoker, almost done with that - I have anxiety issues, and being pregnant I had to stop that particular med. And I cried for 3 full days, called in sick to work also. This is what we both wanted but when it was reality - I freaked out - but I wouldn't change it for another time at all !!

I felt that way shortly after finding out..the fear of "what will change between us??" only because my husband and I are always doing everything together, even when we're doing nothing. I just imagined for a moment never feeling the same exact way..

BUT then the exhiliration and happiness of expecting a baby hit me and hasn't stopped...change can be scary but always a good thing!! You'll be fine. As soon as you tell your mom it'll be better too!!!
