Mommies with babies suffering from Acid Reflux-I have a question!

right now Hannah sleeps in her baby papasan bouncer, in the crib. I am concerned that her head is getting flatter by the day, and that it may be screwing up her posture. if your child slept in a carrier of some sort, how did you transition to the crib? sleeping on her tummy is not an option, bc she does not have good head control, and cant roll over.

This doesn't answer your question but two things we did
1) in the beginning Miranda slept on her side a lot with a sleep positioner but she was in bed with us in a snuggle nest. I don't know if I would have been comfortable doing that with her in another room

2) We got the Amby bed where you can adjust the incline and we used that for about 3 months I think and then around 6 months she did fine going into her crib. We had just raised the head of the crib a bit by putting wood blocks under one end. We didn't leave them there very long though. She got to the point where she was fine sleeping flat even withouth rolling over. She was actually swaddled until she was about 7 months old.

I'd be considered about the flattened head as well from the bouncy seat. What we did was raise the mattress in the crib and bassinnet by using a towel rolled underneath. Everynight, I rotated the direction that she slept...one night head towards the door, the next head to window. Does this make sense?
