diaper genie question?
Is this really neccessary or something like it neccessary? Just wondering if i should put it on my registry?TIA

My family cannot stand these things... We plan to go the old fashioned route like all of us did... Stick in a grocery type bag, in the regular garbage and our it goes every night...

Don't have one- Don't want one.
I just use the "diaper bags" & throw them out right away.
Just the thought of having all those dirty diapers sitting in her room makes me want to gag (I know, there's no smell, but it still freaks me out).
Plus, I'm not sure if this would be true or not, but the way the diaper genie compresses the diapers, wouldn't it be harder to biodegrade?

I really like my Diaper Champ. I've used it from day 1. I like that is uses regular trash bags. I have to say its DH's job to empty it.

We have a Diaper Champ and we don't use it. waste of money IMO. all diapers go in our regular trash and we take it out when necessary.

I don't have one. We just have a little garbage can and when it is especially stinky we take it out right away.

Same here, I throw the diaper, not wrapped in anything, straight into the trash. I think at this point I can wrap that diaper up using its sticky strips better than a diaper genie  We take out the trash nightly.

I have something like that and I hate it. I wish I had spent my money on something that was USEFUL instead of this thing that needs refills which cost more money. One refill that I bought didn't work right, so there is MORE money down the drain. Image Attachment(s):
