If you are planning something last minute - I found a site called www.site59.com and it has some great deals. I booked a trip for my IL's last year and it was totally legit and sooo much cheaper then anything else I could find for them on the short notice they gave me.

Site59 is owned by travelocity-- and is only vacation packages.
I would use kayak.com or sidestep-- both are aggregators and will search for the best deal across all sites.
