Apparently 4 year olds notice too...
My husband is a food snob. Meanwhile, I will do anything possible not to cook - I order out, I take the kids to BK, etc. Someone thoughtfully gave me a gift certificate to Friendly's to take the kids out.
Since I wasn't going to be home tonight, I said to my husband "You should take the kids to Friendly's since I'm going to be out". He got huffy & said "I can't go to Friendly's."
Joseph turned to me & said "Daddy is not a friendly person. You have to be friendly to go. You, me & Maddie can go."

I think he was more when I said "You're right. Daddy can't go. He should be friendlier." We were laughing so much, we couldn't talk.
