How many smoke detectors/CO do we need?
Okay, I can't believe since we redid the whole house we never installed them yet. We have a CO detector in our bedroom and that's it.
We have a small 1200sqft ranch 3bd 2bth with basement. What do I need?

We have a split, so we have one in the kitchen on the main level, one in the den which is a few steps down, and then one in the hallway upstairs. I have one in each of the bedrooms, but those ones aren't hooked up to our alarm system, just the first three.

we have a CH colonial. 5 smoke detectors total. 2 on the 2nd floor, 1 on 1st and 2 in the basement. 1st floor and 1 in basement is a combo smoke and CO detector.

we have a 5BR two story & we have 2 central station smoke detectors, one central station heat detector, 2 central station CO detectors & two battery operated alarm only smoke/co combos. probably overkill.

We have a smoke detector outside our bedroom, outside the guest bedrooms, outside the dining room and one in our bedroom. We have a CO detector in our bedroom

smoke detector - I have one in the basement, one on the main floor and one upstairs.
Carbon D. Detector - only one in the basement
