Holy crap...go to bed child - updated
Noah...its 9.48, you have had your bath, a lovely bottle of fresh bosoms milk, I rocked you AND sang to you...this was over 2 hours ago! So why are you now sitting on my left knee sucking on the hem of my nightgown???
I darent look at you, when I do I get a delicious smile. I want you to go to sleep, I want me to go to sleep...
Ah well, as long as you wake up at 4.45 am smiling and saying Ah-di-di-di.
God help me people.
eta...it's now 10.30 and I think the trick of sleeping for 10 whole minutes in the crib was just cruel!!! I just started washing the dish out from the OLIVES that I had for dinner...
olives.for.dinner.
eta...right, so the kid starts crying at around 10.31 (right after I posted that last night) and he cried until MIDNIGHT. The poor mite was soooo tired. So I took him upstairs and he fell asleep and slept until 6.40 am!!! I feel like a new woman.
Did I tell you that I covered the windows in my bedroom with black garbage bags???Well, the neighbours might think we are mental, but it got me an extra 2 hours of sleep! Totally worth it.

Thats so funny...porridge is a really common term for oatmeal here, I probably just forgot that we don't call it porridge in the states...I do that sometimes!
I really hate to disappoint you guys, but I sound very Long Island lately!! My best friend is from Wigan and my other work friend is from Oldham (ie they have very regional and different accents, those 2 places are only about 25 miles away from each other, but a world apart) and I usually pick up her accent, but since I am not at work at the moment, my regional accents are all shot to sh*t
