I must share this about my daughter!!
My son was 3 in October and is totally toilet trained as of early December. He was "not getting it" and then all of a sudden it clicked for him and he went from diapers to being 100% trained in 2 weeks. My daughter, who is 18 months now, is of course watching everything transpire. She got interested in the potty - really using it - about 3 weeks ago and not pulls her pants down and says "pee potty" alot so we put her on the potty as often as we can and she pees. Its so cute b/c she's so small. My son uses the toilet but getting her up and down the stairs and getting her onesie off is kind of a PITA, plus Im almost 5m preggo. This morning I decided to get the potty seat out of the basement and put it in the kitchen (appealing I know but thats life with small kids) - she goes in there and POOPS in the potty. I was doing laundry downstairs and my DH called me to come see what happened. Can it be....the combo of being a girl and having a bigger sibling to learn from....that she is actually toilet training?
This is very exciting stuff over here.

absolutely!! Siblings learn from the older ones! Dogs are the same way...when there is more than 1 the newer/younger dog usually learns from the older one!

Liz, that is so awesome! Way to go Tara!! We must GTG soon so she can show Andrew how it works! He loves to sit on his potty, fully clothed after he's already done his business in his diaper! He'll get it soon, but we'll live vicariusly through Tara for now.

that's Great!!
the same thing happened with my nephew and niece (i believe they were about the same ages as your kids as well). There was one point where my BIL & SIL really thought that my niece was going to end up being fully potty trained before my nephew
