Heard the baby's heartbeat
So yesterday morning was our 12 week appointment. No ultrasound, but the nurse used a doppler to listen for a heartbeat...it was amazing, i was getting very choked up. She told me the baby is a very active one for 12 weeks, lol! I got nervous...it took a solid 5 minutes to locate and once she did...nice and strong! It was so awesome, just wanted to share!!!

Today I am going for my 11 week. That is exactly what I am so excited for! Was this your first appt (after the blood tests, etc)?

Congrats!! In the beginning it sometimes takes a long time to find the baby's HB because they are so little.

Yes, this was my first after my initial blood work and all at 7 weeks. Don't be nervous if it takes them time to locate the heartbeat...they eventually will, its so so little at this point. But what a great sound!
