My first day alone with baby....
I'm so nervous! My parents just left to go back to NY and DH had an emergency at work so instead of going in at 1, he left at 7:30 (someone broke the windows at his store!)
Plus I'm so sad my parents are gone....it was so nice having them around.....

loving being a mom...she's really a good baby!! She's doing well, has some jaundice but the dr did not seem overly concerned.
I should post some more pics

You'll do great! I know exactly how you feel. We live in OH and when Jack was born my mom and dad came out and then my dad went back to FL and my mom stayed for two weeks. DH went back to work after one week home and after my mom left i was alone all day with Jack. I was so sad to see her go. You'll find your groove and will wonder where the day goes...I remember thinking wow it's 3 oclock already! At this point don't worry about housework, just relax when baby is sleeping.

You'll do fine! Just think of it as your time to really start bonding with her so you can start figuring out her rythms. Enjoy the jaundice while it lasts  For the first week we thought Alex was a perfect little angel, but once that jaundice wore off, ohhhh boy, all hell broke loose!

How are you feeling?
I had DH home for 3 weeks and the first day he went back I was a bit nervous too. After the first day it was easier.

You'll be fine I know how you feel. my mom lives in PA and I am in NY so when she left I was very scared and nervous you'll do perfectly fine and remember your parents are just a phone call away I know its not hte same as having them right htere next to you but it does help alot.

I'm sure it was heartbreaking to see your parents leave, but knowing grandparents I'm sure they'll be back soon enough!
