It was okay -- it could have been a lot worse.
There are some serious issues with my co-teacher and the class was out of control when I was gone -- I could go into it but it woud take forever -- but some of you might rememebr a post about her wanting me ot basically do the report cards while I wasn't even there for weeks. She's such a dependent person and doesn't think for herself -- and the behaviors were just so bad while I was gone ....
As soon as I got there the principal pulled me aside and said "thank god you are back." She basically said that she and the other 2 admins really don't know what more they can do for tihs girl -- and that things were complete pandemodium while I was gone --- and they are thankful I'm back but I really wish I could have a nice smooth year -- being htat it's my first with Emily. But I have to make the best of it.
Also I cried like a baby when I got to work this morning. I walked in, saw my friends/coworkers, they all asked me how she was and I just lost it. I was so sad to leave her even though I knew she was in good hands with my husband. Tomorrow is going to be even worse because my mom and FIL are watching her together. He doesn't follow my rules and she has a broken arm and a cast up to her shoulder. It should be an interesting day for both of them!!!
Now i'm just super exhausted, was just checking the boards quick. EMily is wide awake -- probably not going to sleep any time soon. THe past 2 nights she was up until 4:30 and Bill stayed up with her, but he has to go to work tomorrow so it's my turn tonight and I just don't know how I'm going to make it! I hope the last 2 nights were a fluke and she decides to go to sleep sometime soon. Usually around 11-1am is normal for her.
