Kids and Cats...
Two of my nieces and nephews are coming over on Sunday and they are all young. The ages are 6,4,3 and 1 and a half.
Our cat as you know is a baby. He's 3 months old and is very active. Is it dangerous to have these young kids around him. DH's 11 year old niece came over and he was very friendly with her, of course she is older but nonetheless he was friendly with her.
As long as he doesn't feel threatened he won't do anything. Of course we would monitor things.
What do you guys think?

I wouldn't worry about it, unless you cat was agressive. Both the kids and the kitten will be able to feel each other out.

Re: Kids and Cats...
The adoption agency said he was not aggressive but then again you know how kids like to play rough sometimes, they don't mean it of course cuz they don't know what they're doing. I think that as long as he doesn't feel threatened then it should be fine.

I would watch the claws! Simba is a "Fraidy Cat"..LOL...He runs the other way when my 11 month old nephew comes over. My nephew loves animals, but I am kind of thankful Simba goes the other way! You should be ok.
