what did you feel like? im 5 days late..and i feel soooo tired..all i want to do is sleep..and i keep telling myself.ok not today..i dont have energy to have a baby..i had tons of energy last week..im so upset and annoyed..my back is killing me and i know its because i was laying on my back with those stress test monitors hooked up to me for like45 mins.....i go back today and im dreading it!! im trying to figure out how i can rig the machine to make them think im contracting but i dont know really what they are looking for...well thanks for reading..im just freaking out at this point..i was crying all day yesterday..

Unfortunately - there is no way to rig those machines - but I have definitely been there.

Everyone told me - get some rest.
When they said that to me, I said yeah right, take it from me - GET SOME REST!!
Even if it is watching a couple of movies in a row, if you can get some naps in - DO IT!
I didn't listen to that advice and I kick myself for it.

I went 11 days late and my advice to you would be...chill out and SLEEP. I have sleep regret now that I didn't sleep when I was waiting for this baby to come out. I ran all around with my parents, stayed up late every night...and now, at 3 am when I am trying to get the nipper back to sleep...I think to myself, I wish I would have slept all those days and weeks while I was on maternity leave and waiting!!! I actually felt really well and energetic until I went into hospital for my induction...I got loads done.

Its like meeting a man, once you stop thinking about it...BOOM, you will go into labor*

If you are 5 days past your DD they will probably induce you soon. I know my doc didn't want me going past 40 weeks. The end is in sight. Enjoy the last few days. Baby will be here before you know it.

I was 1 week late and only delivered by scheduled c-section-- I had no contractions, no dialation, nothing! I know your pain.. I was MISERABLE and so sick of being pregnant. I was so big that my left hip began to hurt because of all the weight on it and I could hardly walk anymore. I would go to the Dr praying that something was going on in there and would be so upset when he would say.. "nope, nothing yet-not even dialated a fingertip!"... gee thanks. Hang in there, it will be over before you know it!

I was a week late and went into labor the day before my scheduled induction. I was restless and having contractions the whole week before. They would be consistently 7-8 min for 2-3 hours and then NOTHING! It was so frustrating.

I know it's hard but definitely try to sleep or lounge around the house. Labor can be exhausting and I was happy I didn't exert myself before going into labor.

11 days late...I was very impatient. I just wanted him OUT! When I least expected it, boom...my water broke.
