Does anyone know what happened on the Sunken Meadow Pkway this AM?
Around 8:45 this morning, I tried to enter the pkway southbound at Pulaski Rd in Kings Park, but it was blocked off by an empty police car.
I drove down into Commack and tried to enter at both the Jericho Trnpke entrance AND the Vets Hwy entrance, but they were BOTH blocked by police cars.
I can't find anything online yet....anyone know? I was 45 minutes late for an appointment in Melville (even though I left my house 1 HOUR before the appt!!!!)

If I can contact any of my ambulance corps friends, I'll let you know. No one is online right now. They might have been landing a helicopter if that big of a section was blocked off.

My Dad said it was probably another stupid tractor trailor....he said that the only time they block off that much space is when a truck gets stuck

I get off at that exit too for work... I must of just missed it.. i didnt see anything..
