Re: Baking a cake-WW question
yup supposedly you can use a can of diet coke and a chocolate cake mix - no eggs or oil or anything. Use diet sprite or something clear if making a yellow cake. I tried this a few years ago - as far as I remember, it wasn't bad.

Re: Baking a cake-WW question
You can also use a can of pumpkin. MrsOTG suggested it a while back, I tried it and it came out really good. The pumpkin adds a bit of fiber too.

I do this a lot - the pumpkin is really good in either a chocolate cake mix or a spice cake mix.

I read on the WW site that in addition to the diet soda, you can also add two egg whites.
Nancy, I also saw on the WW boards that you can do it for the brownie mixes also.

Tep - just the cake mix and add one can (I think 15 oz.) of pumpkin and that is it.

This tastes awesome! I used to do this with cupcakes all the time when I was in WW (pre-preggo). If you put it in a cupcake tin and make sure you make 12 cupcakes, you have a one point cupcake!!! This really tastes great with the devil's food chocolate cake mix. I would put cool whip and fresh raspberries as a topping on the cake/cupcakes and they were sooooo good. Enjoy!
