my parents got a call today they are invited to my cousins wedding in 2 weeks

Dont be sorry. Something very fishy is going on and I wont know anything until tomorrow afternoon when my mom calls my grandmother.
My cousin and I have 2 good guesses at what it could be.
Odd that it is in 2 weeks

I even tried to do a search based on my cousins name on all the registries and they came back negative.
I feel like Perry Mason. I just have to know.
