BTDT Moms...I know us soon to be's...
always seem to keep asking the same question...but, please help me out...
If you lost your mucus plug...how long after that did your water break and when did you start labor?
I ask because it seems I've been having a bit of mucusy discharge the last few days...had my 3rd internal yesterday (and did a little bleeding after it) and now I just went to the bathroom and...this is a little TMI...I wiped a glob of mucus...and it was a little bloody...
OMG...

I was in heavy labor when I lost my plug with Mallory, had her only a couple hours later and I don't remember losing it with Jordan.

My plug was torn by the doctor and it came out in pieces over the next 3 days. Then on the 4th day, my water broke.

I know how you feel, I feel the same way. I so want our son to get here already but I'm so scared at the same time. I just keep thinking of seeing his face for the first time and being able to hold and kiss him and that's the only thing that is calming me down.
Try to relax, you will be fine. YOU CAN DO THIS
P.S. I also agree about the drugs part. I plan on doing the same

I didn't lose mine until I was in labor already. But that sounds like it to me...you could lose it little by little over the next few days. But it labor could still be anywhere from days to a week away. I wouldn't get too too excited because it might make the wait worse...but I hope this is it for you!!

Well for me at 37 weeks I lost a big chunk of mucus after my first internal but then NOTHING!
Then on my own (no more internals) I started losing my plug again, then real contractions started within a day or so if I remember correctly but for me it took 2 days for my contractions to get regular. 
I hope this is it for you.
ETA: I was 5 days overdue.

with me my plug came out at 10am the same way yours did. My water never broke but I started having contractions at 10pm and wound up going to the hospital at 1:30am I was in labor for 14 hours but with the epidural it was easy

I started losing mine on a Sat, it continued through Mon morning. I woke up in labor Tues morning and gave birth early Wed. The nurse broke my water when I was in the hospital.

I never saw the mucus plug either time. I'm sure it's not in there now since Maddie is now 2. I only labored for about an hour with her & she came out in the caul (bag of waters in tact) - so maybe in labor.

This is very good luck. The old wives tale says that she will not die of drowning. My grandmother was born with her caul, the doctor saved it, she still has it. It looks like onion paper.
