Homeowners Insurance Vent
Im trying to get a homeowners policy and I cant get one cause I have a rotty! Now that my broker knows she is being a PITA saying no one will take me! I need a policy for when I go to closing, this is killing me!!

Yea thats what I said. She asked if I had a dog and I didnt know I should have lied! She asked what type and I told her and she's like OH forget it, you may as well have 17 pitbulls. I thought it may be a bad time to tell her I have one of those too. Such bull. Oh and I go to closing TOMORROW!!!

Im gonna have too. She just called me back and said she would just add me to the policy DH has and then it wouldnt be lying bc she wouldnt need to ask, just to get me to close. After that i will just call agents on my own without a broker. Like I need this sh!T

Yes, that's a pretty standard question. Your post made me remember about 17 years ago when my Dad got our dog Niko, he specifically did not want to get a license for her or say anything to insurance because his rates would go up.
BTW: On a related note, do you know your car insurance is affected by the other drivers who live in your house even though they may never drive your car. When I found that out I was living with my brother and my disbaled Dad... I started to tell the car insurance company that I lived alone.
