Joseph gets his first shots Monday...
Any tips to lessen the pain..for him AND for me? And what should I expect by way of side effects?

I would give him baby tylenol 1/2 an hour before the shots.
I am sure Talia's shots hurt me way more then it hurt her - it was quick - she cried a bit though - a cry I never heard before - but once I settled her down she was ok - ran a small fever, slept a little more though which was nice.

Whenever marissa gets shots I give her motrin when Iget home so she doesn't run a fever and to take awaythe pain. She does geta little crankier and she does sleep more

Julia only gets a little cranky and sleeps more, but she never has any reactions to them.  I would wait and see if she has any reaction 1st before giving her tylenol. JMO
