Advice please-should I leave my job?

So i am an occupational therapist (OT)and i work with preschoolers who have autism and PDD 2 days a week in a NJ school district. I was hired to take the place of another OT two days a week b/c I was told by my supervisor that "the teacher in this class and the other OT had been together for 4 years and needed a break". Well i go into the school last week and that is not exactly the case. Turns out this preschool teacher is crazy and non of the other OTs in the school wants to be in her room! One therapist is in litagation b/c of her, another one saw this teacher go through her purse, try to get her fired and accused her of stealing $$! also this position was originally a push in model and now i am taking the kids out so that i have less contact with this teache so i know my supervisor is well aware of the issues everyone else had with her. I dont know what to do, this will be my 2nd week and while the teacher hasnt done anyhting to me yet (she was nice but i could see shes fake) i dont want to hang around and and take a chance that 6 months from now she pulls something and my license is on the line. Do i have a right to go to my supervisor and tell her this position is not for me and that it wasnt what i expected? I dont want to tell her its b/c of all the bad things i am hearing abotu this teacher b/c thats not a real valid reason if the teacher hasnt done anything to me yet.

so sorry that its not what you expected... .

i just left a job last week (after working there only 1 week) because it was NOTHING AT ALL like what they had described to me. I went to HR and said "thank you for the opportunity but the position is not what i expected and i dont feel its working out". I wasnt bitchy about it or anything. i think if youre not happy, you shouldnt waste any more of your time on it...look for something else and move on.
