One of the paras --- who was in my room for the first month of school --- lost her husband to a very long battle with cancer earlier in the year. She handled it VERY well, I think she was relieved that the fight was over in some way. However on Friday we found out that her 28 year old son passed away. I found out more info today, that he committed suicide -- was having problems with his wife and jumped out of his building from the 15th floor.
I just can't imagine what this woman is going through. To lose both your husband and son in 4 months time and to lose your son in such a way to boot. She must be going through an incredible amount of pain right now.
The art teacher in my school is very good friends with her and saw her over the weekend and she said that she has just lost it. She's just nonstop shaking and rambling and completely incoherent.
Please pray for this woman. I am not super close with her but I just feel horrible for her, and believe in the power of prayer. Her story has just touched me so much because of the magnitude of it. Please pray for her strength and peace for her family.
