Would anyone possibly know of any apartments for rent in Astoria at a fairly decent price. My MIL wants to move from Commack to astoria to be near us. My parents own two houses but have nothing available for them. She'll take a basement at this point. She is really miserable where she is right now.

How are studio apartments? What's the difference. I've heard of them but don't really know what they look like....
