How long before your due date do you plan to work?

Right now I am saying I will work until August 5th (assuming no problems along the way) and I am due August 12th. Is one week of down time enough? I'm exhausted NOW and I'm only 30 weeks!

I took off 2 weeks before my due date.

Well...if you read my other post...I've been sooo bored!!!

HOWEVER, I'm glad that I had two weeks to myself to get the house in order and get off my feet...because they were SWOLLEN!!

I plan on working up until a week before my due date....However ask me again during summer camp in the middle of august

because of the way my due date is on a wed Im working till one and half week before even though its killing me to be here right now.

I worked to the very end...I went to work when I was in early labor The only reason I did that is because I knew I had to go back to work and I only have 12 weeks of leave. I wanted to spend as much time as I could with the baby...I am so glad I had all that time with her. I really could not stay home anyway I know my mind would be playing tricks on me and I get bored very easy. It would of been really nice though to rest before...in my head I thought if I went 2 weeks late and left work 2 weeks early that was 4 weeks out of my 12

I'm due August 25th and plan to stop around August 12th...BUT I hope I can make it that long!! I commute 2 hours each way and my ankles are non-existent by the time I get home! My DH is now calling me "log legs!"

I work right up until the end. My wayer may break at work for all I know, unless I get unduced.

I'm due November 11th and I told work that I'd probably stop sometime in October...just don't know exactly when yet.

I'm trying to decide whether to work until the friday before my due date or to just wait until I go into labor.

It's already getting hard to drag my butt to work everyday though.

I left work 1 week before my due date. That was enought time for me to relax. Plus I didn't want to use to much of my diability before the baby was here. I also had a job where I could sit and it was not stressful at all.

I sit behind a desk all day so I don't know when I will stop working. I guess if I am ok I will work until I go into labor.

I am thinking 1 week before my due date maybe 10 days-2 weeks depending on how I feel and if the midwife feels like things are progressing. I work 30 miles from home so I don't want to be that far if labor could happen at any minute.

Since my last day of teaching is on June 28th and my due date is September 5th....I'll already be out of work for a little over two months

I'm due in January and plan on stopping soon after Thanksgiving. I work as an adjuster for a car insurance and don't really feel comfortable towards the very end walking into body shops.

I work all day on my feet, so i am just going to base it on how I feel...

I am going to work up until the END, I hope!!!
I need all the money I can get, and my job is not straining at all. and my boss and co workers are so great to me.

I am actually Running a GOLF tournament 2 weeks before my due date, so my boss is so nervous I wont make it and doesnt want me to do too much,
I think I will be fine, so we will see!!!

Well, my Doctor wants me to stop working at 32 weeks (twins) but I really don't want to go out that early cuz that counts toward my time off. So I will probably continue until I absolutely can't.
With my son I worked until a week before my due date.

My last day of work is tomorrow. I will be 36 weeks on Saturday. So I basically took the last month off... I need it. I work in Manhattan and the 2 hour commute each way is killing me!

I plan to commute into work until 38 weeks (an hour each way) and after that I will be "working from home" - thankfully my boss is letting me do this...otherwise I would have commuted till the bitter end!! I'd rather have more time with the baby plus I think i'd be bored out of my mind sitting at home all day long.

My original intent was to work until the day I gave labor, but after having quite a few problems, I ended up stopping work in the beginning of May (nearly 3 months before my due date.)
