DH B-day IDEAS?????
My DH is the hardest person to buy a b-day gift for. I ask him what he needs and he always says nothing. I've been really creative in the past.. I bought him a star, yankee tickets, clothes, i threw him a surprise 30th etc...This drives me crazy bc this yr I'm lacking creativity in this area. Im the type were u u tell me what u want and i get it for you. Has anyone had a great gift they gave their spouse that can help me out. His b-day is Nov 3rd TIA

well you have more time than I do.
Rich's bday is Oct 12th (wednesday), and I have NOTHING. no ideas, nothing at all.
I think I'll "put birthday $ towards a small vacation", and ask that he do the same for my birthday.

Vaction is out bc he has work and so do I. I'm looking to spend around 150. PS Along with his gift we always go to dinner as well

and for his b-day we did a kayaking trip on the long island sound out of oyster bay - but that might be too cold to do in Nov.

Or maybe tickets to a show? Would he go to a spa, you could do a gift certificate for a massage.

For my DHs 30th, 10 of us went out to a baseball game ( I know you cant do that anymore now but just wanted to give you an idea) and then we rented out a room of a bar in the city for 4 hours. We charged everyone like $30 or something like that for 4 hours open bar.

Joe is into BASEBALL (YANKEES) Yet i got him everythign under the sun that has to do with that. Im actually thinking about getting him new a flat screen for the computer. GOD he's so difficult to buy for. I refuse to get him clothes bc his closet has things with tags still on. Maybe i can get him Giant tickets.

Ok I'm going to vote for Opening Day tickets then. We got our groomsmen opening day tickets. I gave it to them along with this leather traveling shaving kit. Since we got married in January & didn't have the tickets yet, I made a monopoly card that looked like the "Get Out of Jail Free" card but said "Get <DH's name> Out of Jail Free" (see below)

This card entitles bearer to get <DH's name> out of jail for free for one night.
No excuses, no complaining, no problems.
In addition, this card entitles bearer for one complimentary ticket to Yankee Opening Day 2000. Transportation & beverages included.
