How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?
Okay, so I just polished off half a bottle of merlot and I don't even feel a tingle. W T F? Instead I think I'm getting a headache! 
Red wine just doesn't do it for me. Ugh.
So on that note...which do you prefer... are you a red or white gal/guy?
I'm keeping the poll simple but please feel free to elaborate on what type of wine you prefer...

I like white. Reisling is my favorite, followed by Chardonnay.

I have yet to try a Riesling. Right now my favorite is Pinot Grigio.

Yeah I bet I would like the Riesling since I do like most white too.
It's pretty sweet, which is why I like it so much. Sometimes it's listed as a dessert wine, but I drink it with dinner.

Just to drink...Definitely red wine, preferably a zinfandel or pinot noir.
If I am pairing it with food, it depends on what I am eating.

I used to be white but have now gotten into red wine. Favorite so far is Stag's Leap Cabernet but on the cheaper scale the Coppola is excellent.
I also love port.

White, Red gives me a wicked headache.
Your post reminded me of that song by lil kim and sisco- How many licks does it take to get to the center of it-
I think the shoveling got to my brain! and NOW my landscaper decides to come with the blower??????? he NEVER done this before- must be a new toy!
