BTDT Moms or moms of 8 mos old babies

How much formula should an 8 month old baby be drinking per day? Is there a min amount? My son "drinks" 4 6oz bottles per day. So 24 oz per day plus 2-3 oz with his cereal. But the past few days he's been leaving 1-3 oz here and there. I also added yogurt to his diet yesterday and added meats last month. So I'm assuming it's okay if he doesn't take his full 6 oz now b/c he's eating more regular food. But I just want to make sure he's not under the minimum of what a baby his age should be drinking. Any ideas?

Emily is 9.5 months and also has 4 6oz bottles per day. The doctor said this is fine and that it will continue to decrease as we approach one year old and she eats more and more solids.

My doctor has been OK with Miranda taking 18-20oz but she has never been a big eater so maybe that's why.

Thanks for your help. I'll just keep giving him 6 oz and see if he takes it. I'm not forcing it though.

That sounds good! Kevin's been taking three 8 oz bottles (give or take an ounce) since about 8 months.

We're starting our last week's worth of formula and transitioning to whole milk!! I can't wait!! $$$
